Player Welfare & Safety

Responsible
Gambling at 55sce

Gambling at 55sce is meant to be entertainment — exciting, engaging and always within your control. We provide every registered adult player with a full suite of tools to keep play safe, enjoyable and within sensible limits. Your wellbeing matters more to us than any single transaction.

18+
Adults Only Platform
Strictly 18 years and above

55sce is strictly for adults aged 18 and above — or the higher minimum age required by the operator or the applicable license jurisdiction. Participation by minors is absolutely prohibited.

Pakistan's Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 and other applicable laws govern participation. Online gambling may be restricted or prohibited in your jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to verify that participation is lawful before registering.

Built-In Controls

Your Responsible Gambling Toolkit

Every 55sce account comes with a full set of responsible gambling controls — available from your account dashboard at any time, at no charge and without any delay.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit cap on your 55sce account in PKR. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits can be made until the current period resets. Limit reductions take effect immediately; increases require a cooling-off period to take effect, so you cannot undo a limit in the heat of the moment.

Available in your Account Settings → Responsible Gambling

Loss Limits

Specify the maximum amount in PKR you are comfortable losing in a defined period. When your loss limit is reached, further wagering is temporarily suspended for that period. This tool is particularly useful during high-energy sessions like PSL T20 playoff nights or ICC World Cup matches, when the temptation to chase losses can be strongest.

Available in your Account Settings → Responsible Gambling

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum continuous session duration. Once your session timer expires, you will be automatically logged out and prompted to take a break. You can also enable a reality-check notification — a periodic pop-up reminder during active sessions that shows how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered.

Available in your Account Settings → Responsible Gambling

Cooling-Off Period

If you feel your gambling is getting out of hand but are not ready for a full self-exclusion, a cooling-off period pauses your account for a short defined period — typically 24 hours, 72 hours or 7 days. During the pause, deposits and wagering are not permitted. The pause cannot be reversed once activated.

Available in your Account Settings → Responsible Gambling

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a formal, binding tool that closes your 55sce account for an extended period — options include 6 months, 1 year, 3 years or a permanent/indefinite exclusion. Self-exclusions cannot be reversed during the active exclusion period. If you believe you have a gambling problem, this is the most important tool available to you. Request it via your account settings or by contacting support directly.

Permanent exclusion is irreversible — cannot be lifted

Reality Checks

Reality-check notifications appear at set intervals during active play — every 30, 60 or 90 minutes, as you configure. Each notification displays your total session time, total wagered and your current net position for the session. It prompts you to make a conscious decision to continue or stop — rather than playing on autopilot.

Understanding Responsible Play

Gambling Should Be
Entertainment

Responsible gambling means approaching betting and gaming as a leisure activity — something you enjoy in your own time, within a budget you have set in advance, and without it affecting your work, relationships or financial stability.

At 55sce, we want every player in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar — and across Pakistan — to experience gambling as a positive form of entertainment. Watching a PSL T20 match is more exciting with a little skin in the game, and following a UFC fight night feels different when you have studied the form. That kind of engagement is what we are here for.

What gambling is not — and should never be — is a way to generate income, recover financial losses, cope with personal stress or escape problems. If any of those descriptions start to feel familiar, that is a signal worth paying attention to.

The good news is that problem gambling can be addressed effectively, especially when it is recognised and acted on early. 55sce's responsible gambling tools are designed to help you catch the early signs and act before a problem becomes serious. We also encourage you to seek independent support resources if you feel that gambling is affecting your life.

10 Tips for Responsible Play

1
Set a gambling budget before you start — and stick to it, regardless of whether you are winning or losing.
2
Use 55sce's deposit and loss limits to make your budget a hard ceiling, not just a guideline.
3
Never gamble with money set aside for rent, food, bills or other essential expenses.
4
Take regular breaks — use the session timer and reality-check feature to stay aware of how long you have been playing.
5
Never chase losses — the odds do not reset after a losing streak, and trying to "win it back" nearly always makes things worse.
6
Do not gamble when you are upset, exhausted, under the influence of alcohol or under significant financial or personal pressure.
7
Balance gambling with other leisure activities — sport, social time, family and other hobbies.
8
Only use one gambling account and keep your login details private. Do not allow others to gamble using your 55sce account.
9
Treat gambling as entertainment that has a cost — like going to a cricket match or the cinema. Expect to pay that cost; do not expect a profit.
10
If gambling stops being enjoyable or starts causing stress, take a break — use the cooling-off or self-exclusion tool, and talk to someone you trust.
Recognise the Signs

When Gambling
Becomes a Problem

Problem gambling can develop gradually. The signs below do not necessarily mean someone has a severe gambling disorder, but they are worth taking seriously. If you recognise several of these in yourself or someone close to you, seeking support sooner is always better than later.

Spending more money on gambling than you originally planned, or more than you can comfortably afford.
Chasing losses — increasing stakes or session length to try and recover money already lost.
Gambling for longer periods than intended, or finding it difficult to stop even when you want to.
Borrowing money, selling possessions or using funds meant for essential expenses such as rent, bills or household needs to gamble.
Hiding gambling activity from family members or lying about how much time or money you spend on gambling.
Feeling anxious, irritable, depressed or restless when not gambling, or using gambling as a way to cope with negative emotions.
Neglecting work, studies, family responsibilities or social relationships because of time or money spent on gambling.
Repeatedly trying to cut down on gambling without success — or returning to gambling shortly after deciding to stop.
Self-Assessment

Quick Self-Check

Q7 Have you ever felt guilty, ashamed or anxious about your gambling behaviour?

If you answered Yes to 3 or more: We strongly encourage you to use 55sce's self-exclusion or cooling-off tool and to speak with a support resource. Please see the Support section below.

Important Tool

Self-Exclusion
Explained

Self-exclusion is the most powerful responsible gambling tool available at 55sce. It is designed for players who recognise that they need a complete break from gambling and want to ensure that break is enforced.

Your 55sce account is immediately suspended. You will be logged out and will not be able to log back in, place bets, make deposits or access casino games for the full duration of your selected exclusion period. Any pending bets placed before self-exclusion will be settled normally.

55sce offers self-exclusion periods of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years and permanent (indefinite) exclusion. Permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed at any point. Timed exclusions cannot be shortened during the active period — you must wait for the full term to expire before requesting account reactivation, and reactivation requires a separate formal request and a mandatory reflection period.

Yes. Any real-money balance in your account at the time of self-exclusion can be requested for withdrawal during the exclusion period. Bonus balances that have not met wagering requirements will be forfeited in accordance with the Terms & Conditions. Contact support at [email protected] to request a balance withdrawal during exclusion.

No. When you self-exclude, 55sce will immediately remove you from all marketing communications, including bonus offer emails, promotional SMS messages and push notifications. If you continue to receive marketing after self-exclusion, contact support immediately so we can rectify the issue.

55sce's self-exclusion applies only to your account at 55sce. It does not automatically exclude you from other gambling operators or platforms. If you are concerned about your gambling behaviour, we strongly recommend seeking exclusion from all gambling platforms you use, and reaching out to a professional support resource.
Getting Help

Support & Resources

If you are in distress or experiencing a mental health crisis related to gambling: Please reach out to a mental health professional or crisis support service in Pakistan. You are not alone, and help is available. Do not wait until the problem feels unbearable.

Responsible gambling resources and professional support are the most effective tools for people experiencing problem gambling. While the availability of formally accredited gambling-specific organisations in Pakistan continues to develop, the following avenues are available to users:

55sce Support Team

Our support team is available 24/7 in English and Urdu. If you are worried about your gambling, our agents can assist you in setting limits, activating a cooling-off period or processing a self-exclusion — immediately, with no judgment.

Mental Health Professionals

Pakistan has trained psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and counsellors in major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad who deal with compulsive behaviour and addiction. Ask your general physician for a referral, or contact a local hospital's psychiatry department.

Seeking professional help for gambling is as valid as seeking help for any other health concern.

Family & Trusted Contacts

Telling a trusted family member or close friend about a gambling concern is often one of the most effective first steps. A supportive person who knows what is happening can help you stay accountable to the limits and breaks you set, and can encourage you to seek professional help if needed.

You do not have to manage this alone.

International Support Organisations

Organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous operate internationally and have online resources, forums and telephone support available to individuals worldwide, including those in Pakistan. Their peer-based support model has helped millions of people across different cultures and backgrounds address compulsive gambling.

Search "Gamblers Anonymous" for international online resources (text reference only — no external links from this page).

Remember: Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Problem gambling is a recognised health condition that responds well to treatment and support. The earlier it is addressed, the better the outcomes. 55sce encourages any player who feels their gambling is becoming a problem to reach out — to us, to family, or to a professional — without delay.
Child Safety

Protecting Minors

18+
55sce strictly prohibits access by anyone under 18 years of age — or the higher minimum age required by the operator or license jurisdiction. Age verification is a mandatory part of the KYC process.

55sce takes the protection of minors extremely seriously. We apply age verification at registration and may request supporting documentation (such as a CNIC) at any time. Any account found to belong to a person below the minimum age will be immediately closed and all relevant information will be handled in accordance with our legal obligations.

If you share a device with minors — children or younger family members — we strongly recommend:

Secure Your Account

Always log out of your 55sce account after each session. Use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication where available. Never allow others to access your account.

Parental Controls

Consider using device-level parental control software on shared computers, tablets or smartphones. Most Android and iOS devices have built-in parental control features that can restrict access to gambling-related content.

If you believe a minor has accessed the 55sce platform or registered an account, please contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Play Informed. Play Responsibly.
